The TELEMASTER system commissioned in 2008 to SIEMENS VAI for the most important Saudi Arabian steel works, has been subject to functional control after 1 year operation as per contract. The results were really positive, confirming the high quality standards of our products. The Customer is really interested with this system due to the easy operation and great result on water cooled cables monitoring. Thanks to the TELEMASTER he can monitor the cables performances and schedule well in advance their replacement, introducing a new preventive maintenance process to avoid production stops for cables repairing, to increase productivity of the electric arc furnace and save energy.
These important results has been presented to the AISTECH '09 Conference on May 7th in St. Louis (MI) U.S.A.
