OneCable technology
One Cable is the water-cooled cable that guarantees superior performance.
The One Cable water-cooled cable from Brar represents the pinnacle of innovation in the electric furnace sector. The result of years of research and development, One Cable is designed to become a benchmark standard, raising the quality of cables used in critical industrial applications.
This premium cable meets the needs of even the most demanding clients, offering superior performance and exceptional durability.
Brar has extensive experience in manufacturing water-cooled cables for electric arc furnaces, induction furnaces, and electroplating plants.
Our in-depth understanding of industry dynamics has enabled us to develop a revolutionary product capable of addressing the most complex operational challenges, ensuring reliability, mechanical strength, and optimal performance in extreme environments.

- Greater protection for all strands, thanks to an extruded coating that provides an additional protective barrier against wear and damage.
- Increased compactness of the strands, reducing the movement of individual copper wires within the cable, extending its lifespan.
- Optimal distribution of mechanical stresses, reducing the risk of twisting and bending caused by electrodynamic forces.
- Reduced of mechanical stress near terminals and minimisation of oscillations, improving the overall stability of the system.
PUNCH & PRESS TECHNOLOGY (P&P Technology)
Brar's innovative Punch & Press Technology is at the core of the One Cable system. This process involves the punching and pressing of the coated copper strand, enhancing the cable's protection and mechanical performance. The end result is a more durable cable with optimal electrical contact and an extended operational lifespan.
Copper strands made from high-conductivity electrolytic copper wire with a diameter of 0.8 mm. Each strand is insulated with polyurethane, and the sheath is perforated using the innovative Punch & Press technology to ensure optimal cooling of each strand.
To facilitate strand cooling, the sheath is perforated with P&P Technology, enhancing heat dissipation.
Benefits:
- Reduction of stress and movement of the strands.
- Longer average lifespan, thanks to improved resistance to mechanical stresses.
- Increased resistance to bending and twisting, to withstand electrodynamic forces. .
- Better distribution of electrodynamic stresses, for more stable operation.

The mechanical pressing developed by Brar with a 500t press simultaneously locks all copper strands, ensuring improved electrical contact, greater flexibility, and extended cable lifespan.
Advantages of One Shot Press Technology
- Increased durability of the tube and cable.
- Reduced mechanical stresses on structures.
- Simplified assembly and maintenance.
- Optimised circulation of cooling water.
